$25 Minimum Monthly Discount All merchant accounts should do a minimum amount of business each month or be assessed a fee. Discount Rate x Monthly MC/Visa Sales = Minimum Monthly Total MC/Visa MO/TO Discount Rate is 2.49%, Monthly $1025 sales .0249 x $1025 = $25.52 ($25 minimum met, fee is waived) MC/Visa Discount Rate is 1.59%, Monthly $1600 sales .0159 x $1600 = $25.44 ($25 minimum met, fee is waived) Anything above the minimum, the fee is waived. Anything below the minimum, fee is prorated from $0 to $25 Meet the minimum and you owe $0 Meet half of the minimum, and you owe half of $25---$12.50 If you had no credit sales in a month, you would owe $25.

There are no other monthly fees except for equipment to process cards.

In summary, we have 3 monthly fees.
We have 1 monthly fee that a few businesses may need to pay.

1. All merchant accounts have a $10 monthly statement fee.
2. Mastercard and Visa have a 1.59% or 2.49% fee on credit card sales.
3. Each transaction conducted is either 25¢ or 30¢

4. The other monthly fee is displayed in the box above.
Simply take the rate, either 1.59 or 2.49 and times it by your monthly credit card sales.
If the result is greater than $25, you would not pay the monthly minimum.
If the result is less than $25, the fee is prorated as explained in the box above.
Depending on your sales, you could owe $1, or $8, or up to $25, or nothing at all.
